Science fiction. Sometimes I find myself mentally pondering, "what will happen in n years?", "what would have happened if...?" and so on. But due to my limited knowledge of science and, perhaps, not the best imagination, I find it more interesting to read other people's thoughts, well-written, including from a scientific perspective.
Fantasy, despite all this, I don't consider to be worse, however, I have read much less of it than science fiction, and I like it less.
