To hell with this Western-style democracy; we live in Russia, and we live quite well, especially if you compare it to what it was eight years ago and what it is now.

As we all remember, the last ones won. Yeltsin appointed Putin as his successor, and Putin appointed Medvedev. Pure totalitarianism, don't you think? (if you look at it from the outside). And you ask, "Why don't they like us? Why don't they like us..."

In the elections, besides Medvedev, as mentioned above, there was no one else to choose from. And Medvedev seems like a decent guy anyway.
