The eternal question: which heroes are better, mages or warriors?

You can actually defeat these Nagas with a Warrior having 30 Titans and 3 mana (under certain circumstances. But how much mana do *you* need if 9000 damage per round from the Titans isn't enough? :) ) Is that like 40 explosions dealing 10 damage each?

Why focus so much on spells that deal direct damage? There are plenty of other spells. Especially when dealing with such large armies, you simply won't have enough mana for hit-based spells.

And besides, my Naga example is just average and quite achievable. Wolf provided a much more interesting case:

although I remember (forgot which map) - a difficult battle against approximately 5000-8000 enhanced Psionic creatures (which have protection against all magic and incredibly high speed). - in such battles, a Warrior will never win, even if his army is almost equal.

Actually, I just remembered that there can't be more than 4000 neutral creatures - that's the limit. That's why I doubted the plausibility of his example. But still, Wolf is an experienced player and a prize winner in the Heroes V offline competition...
