That happened! At first, everything was going great. On turn 117, there were bears in the castle, and I had 17k gold, but then... I messed up badly... I didn't have Conserve, and feeling that my opponent's skills were growing rapidly, I rushed to get 19 angels with a greydragon and left half my army there... And then Tyraxor arrived... I wanted to surrender immediately, but I didn't want to spoil the joy of my first victory with a capitulation :D
