What is your opinion about Heroes IV?

Comparing it to chess is inappropriate, or do you always only play chess against the computer?

I was actually talking about real chess.
How can it be inappropriate?
After all, the essence of Heroes is chess, only much more complex.

I have nothing against Heroes III; I often play it with a neighbor on a local network. Yes, due to the lower graphics, the third game wins because it doesn't lag or load slowly. And it doesn't require a fast internet connection. That's why it's more suitable for online play (I already wrote this at the end of post 687).

But in other respects, Heroes V is in no way inferior to the third game. The fifth game even has many advantages. The universe of the fifth game is well-developed and does not lag behind the previous parts, IMHO.

That's exactly what I meant when I said I wasn't saying anything bad about the fifth game itself. I'm not arguing that it's a good game. But the argument started because of the graphics! They said that the graphics in the fifth game are great, the game is great, I play it, but the graphics in the fourth game are crap - so I don't play it, and therefore the game is crap. That's when I said that you shouldn't judge games of this genre by their graphics!
And he got upset and started throwing insults. Is that how it should be?
We are all intelligent people here, which is why we came together because of this game, because I have always believed that only intelligent people play it. IMHO
