I've listened to all sorts of music and I don't understand what the appeal of "bangin'" music is. In my opinion, it's simply not there. Although, I won't deny that if I dig into Slipknot, I might find a couple of decent songs.
Regarding Rammstein, I could have understood that I was talking about the musicians' skill level, not the styles.

Slipknot doesn't play very heavy. Especially after you listen to grind/core or pure death.
Well, there's a different kind of heaviness there, and in general, don't even mention those styles, grind/core is a complete degradation of rock, and death isn't far behind either. These styles were created to initially irritate nerves and shred ears, basically for aesthetes)))

Downloaded it, listened to it - it's not the same... :( I thought it would really be different from their previous albums. It's too monotonous - I don't like that. I need it to be beautiful. By the way, have you heard Bullet for My Valentine? That's where the music is - these guys are virtuosos. True, it's not pure metalcore. I recommend it, especially the album
