Started in the center-tube with a full load of wood, but after being left with only 10 simple elves, I made it through the rough terrain to my home base. There was also a shortage of wood there, so I played for almost two weeks with simple elves. The portal leading to the blue side is blocked by evil eyes, so it's relatively safe for now. Towards the end of the week, I devoured the gnomish army, finishing off the gnomes with simple elves, then a couple of medusas and necropolises. I scouted and, after gaining momentum, successfully broke through the portal and settled in the capital of the blue side, defeating the small guard. On turn 132, Shakti attacks. In the final, doubling the mana was crucial.
