I confirm! After all the resets, with a meager resource spawn, 20-49 Fanatics blocked the passage to one half of the spawn area with the Tree Mine. There was only one Necropolis, so I went along the only free path, where I got secondary units from Inferno, but there was nothing else to find, so I spent my treasury on 10-19 Bone Guards with a large stack, guarding the Shield +2 to Defense, and went for it out of desperation...
