The wood mine was blocked on both starting locations, so I had to fight through in a chain with 7 simple elves and 50 centaurs, covering every corner. But I still managed to produce cavalry in the castle on the first week, as well as a secondary barbarian town (completely blocked by a Hive of Marks). On the second week, the same – cavalry produced in the castle, a secondary town, a cavalry hut, two dwarven mines, and a Naga tower. On the third week – a cavalry hut, a Naga tower, and a breakthrough along the road to the adjacent dungeon. At the beginning of the fourth week, he attacked after I captured his dungeon. My stats are slightly higher, a bit more mana, and my units are slightly faster (artillery +2 to speed).
I have 4 angels, 20 cavalry, 59 griffs, 90 centaurs, 17 pegasus, and 1 Earth Elemental.
He has 7 angels, 100+ Marks, almost 40 Crusaders, 30 Korgs, and about 40 Pikemen.
I set up my tactics, sped up the cavalry – blocking the Marks. I managed to save all the elves, 2 angels, 7 cavalry, and almost all the centaurs. Valeska ran away; in a couple of days, I'll bring more wood and attack Valeska in the castle. The advantage in troops allowed me to win.
Thank you for the game.
Yes, the +2 speed really made a difference; the archers didn't get a single chance to shoot.
Thank you for the game! I'm looking forward to a rematch
