Those six to nine Minotaurs can also help.

How? Melee units get taken down by Furies, and ranged and magic users get taken down by Griffins and magic.
Six to nine Minotaurs won't even make it to the end, and they'll get crushed by melee units.
I don't see any effectiveness in that kind of help.
