The most useful monster.

I agree with zybr; Nagas with Counter Attack and Mass Attack are very effective in the hands of a Mage.

Perhaps Loken meant a simpler version where Nagas don't have the "Triple Attack" ability, but only have Counter Attack. I couldn't find oxygen_hl's post where he described in detail the advantages of this ability against the Heroes army.
