No matter what program you use or what floppy disk you have, even if the file has excellent (100%) chances of being recovered, it doesn't necessarily mean that the file will be recovered correctly. This has happened to me many times. And the answer to the question in the first post of the thread is that there are NO programs for recovering/repairing damaged maps. By the way, MS Office has a function similar to recovering damaged files. But even it can't handle such problems... So, my advice is to look for maps elsewhere (on the internet, from friends...).
