I can’t install Tribes of the East.

here's my problem...


if it's relevant, here are my computer specs:
CPU: AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+
RAM: 2 GB
Video: GeForce 8600 GT 512 MB
DirectX 9 (from the game disc)
WinXP SP3

I tried installing it on another computer (weaker and with Windows SP2), and the same thing happened.

I forgot to mention, the disc is a licensed copy, no doubt about it.
