Regarding points, I suggest the following formula: Where R is the rating for the Tournaments, P is the participant's place in the Tournaments, and N is the number of participants in the Tournaments! And you can reward everyone! The last one will receive little, but still something... Or you can only reward a certain number. For example, like this:

1-4 participants ----- 1st place
5-8 participants ---- 1-3rd places
9-16 participants --- 1-5th places
17-32 participants --- 1-8th places
33+ participants ---- 1-10th places
