There was also something similar in women's fencing, with Sofia Velikaya simultaneously attacking an American, Rebecca. The Chinese judge kept awarding points to the American, resulting in an unfair and lucky victory for Rebecca.

Well, after Athens, the judges haven't seemed to favor anyone so obviously, at least I haven't noticed. The Chinese, of course, always get slightly higher scores in gymnastics, but that's understandable, they're performing at home, but still, Chinese athletes absolutely deserve to win medals.
But not all Americans win fairly (practically for free).
