Is it really allowed to use the Astral Gate spell?
In the version 1.1 map, this spell is included intentionally to add more options for completing the map (scripted garrisons contribute to this).
In general, ogo-i did a great job, as always, creating an interesting map.
Thank you, it's nice to hear that:)
What should I do if the rules change?
They are not changing. Personally, I didn't know about the general rules of this portal. I included this spell intentionally. I think it's obvious that it can be used.
Running through garrisons without stopping - try experimenting and run without stopping. As for what ogo-i came up with regarding special zones and scripts, you can quickly figure it out during the game, as well as what you can do to avoid completely losing movement, if possible.
Yes, the garrisons are indeed ambiguous. If you run through them, MP will be deducted a little later. If you stop in them, it will be deducted immediately. Therefore, it is impossible to run through a captured garrison.
What are the rule changes?
Because I don't want to read a lot on all the pages.
There are no changes. Someone said something, and everyone picked it up.
If Warmonger, however, had any prohibitions in mind for the tournament, but didn't announce them, then it's too late. You can't change horses midstream!
I think so too:)
wolf64 - but you have to agree that Kamikaze is right, and the organizer of this tournament is not behaving quite correctly; here in the thread, you have to wait several days for an answer to questions, I think he monitors his thread less often than the participants.
Yes, Warmonger definitely failed in terms of organization:(
Later, OGO, the map creator, made a new version, which we are all playing (by the way, he increased the difficulty level of the map to hero level).
I also made a version of the map (1.1), I just changed the save file - Warmonger's version was the one with the glitch. And also on Warrior))
You can't run through them (when you trigger the event, the turns are reset), but I am running through.
You can run through, but not quite - movement points will be deducted, but just a little later. In general, maybe I shouldn't have explained all this, because these details can be easily learned through experimentation;)
The point is that the organizer says, "You can't run through the garrison, you must have imagined it."
The organizer was often incompetent:( Apparently, he really doesn't have time for the tournament...
And when did Heroes become a game of reaction?
Reaction time is not the issue here.
