So, I won't tell you how to complete the mission itself, but I will tell you how to mark the checkbox. So, after you mark the checkbox that the garrison is ready for defense (I described how to do this in the previous message), I personally removed all the unnecessary mercenaries. Maybe this isn't necessary, but then I created another mercenary in the capital. Please note that the checkbox for preparing the garrison must be marked, and voila...
