The war in South Ossetia.

Offering Russian passports is a truly brilliant idea. Please explain to me why, if Russia was called upon as a peacemaker to regulate relations between Georgia and Ossetia (which, by the way, were not regulated but remained at the same level of tension), and Russia has long officially recognized that South Ossetia is Georgian territory, it would offer Russian citizenship to people living in Georgian territory? It's unlikely that Saakashvili can be compared to Hitler. There's still room for improvement. And the fact that Tskhinvali was practically razed to the ground can be explained by simple malice. The city is surrounded by Georgian and Ossetian villages. And for about eight years or more, these villages and Tskhinvali have been shooting at each other to keep things interesting. So many Georgians (and Ossetians) have died there that they no longer care about an entire city.
