The war in South Ossetia.

Personally, I don't see where they are "imposing democracy." Many residents of Abkhazia and South Ossetia have Russian passports (and this is a fact, not information from the media). Russian peacekeepers were sent to help South Ossetia, and certainly not to invade Georgia. "Beloved of the Gods," why are you trying to stir up pointless ethnic discord? Yes, Saakashvili deserves what you said. But that doesn't mean that Georgia should be occupied or its people exterminated. In Georgia, for example, there are many people who do not support Saakashvili. And even among the civilian population who support him, not all are maniacs or scoundrels. Saakashvili will not send the elderly and children to war, if only because then a popular uprising would begin in Georgia, and in that case, no support from the West would help Saakashvili and his government survive.
