A program for determining luck/morality in Heroes 3!

Placing zeros in the leftmost column of the Cranim file leads to 100% repeatability of the battle, not only in the saved game. This also results in 100% repeatability of the battle with the same Titans – and not in a way that benefits the player in this particular setup. And it's different from the video.

vbn, did you play with different Cranim files? On July 3rd at 9:37 PM – with one, and on July 4th at 2:14 AM with another?

I played on different computers, at the office and at home (at home, Cranim.txt is not modified), which is why this happened. I was puzzled myself and thought it was all due to Windows 2000, but I have XP at home, but now everything is clear...
I took the saved game on Windows 2000, and I killed the Titans on XP, then I tried to record a video of the Titans on Windows 2000, where the modification was applied. I struggled a bit, it almost didn't work, and then I had to go home, I came home and quickly recorded the video.
