At the beginning of the battle, I cast Meteor Shower. Therefore, not only the enemies, but also the allies take damage. With Empathy, the hero can move before the enemies even leave their starting positions. And the Druid can acquire it quite quickly. I would reduce the chance of Empathy appearing.

Considering the initiative of the elven troops, Meteor Shower (and other mass spells) will hit your own units hard. Empathy is not as useful in this case as "Keen Mind" (the hero's initiative starts at 12.5 instead of 10), but even with it, the hero will most likely move after the Dryads, Dancers, and Dragons.
