The war in South Ossetia.

Guys, aren't you taking into account that Russian media also, to put it mildly, doesn't tell the whole truth? Yes, Georgia started this conflict, but we also made ourselves look terrible by immediately intervening. It's obvious to everyone that this was a provocation, and we acted like idiots. If we're talking about holding a knife to the throat of the Georgian government, then our politicians should do the same. And regarding Georgia's bombing of civilians, last night Russian troops bombed an aircraft factory in Tbilisi and didn't even flinch that it was located in a residential area. If even one bomb had missed, that would have been it, not to mention that several bombs didn't explode, and people in nearby houses were asked to stay home until everything was neutralized. Is that normal in your opinion? Wars are generally disgusting, and this one is particularly incomprehensible, as no one among the civilian population of either Georgia or Russia wants this war (except for some fanatics, or idiots, who have fallen for television propaganda). As for the UN, it's just something else entirely. Remember any conflict where they were able to do anything? No? I don't remember either. And I don't understand what the UN is for...
