If I'm not mistaken, the Geneva Convention prohibits harming the wounded, whether they are enemies or not, and instead requires providing them with assistance. Nevertheless, even in our "civilized" 21st century, this seems to be forgotten by chance. And we're still talking about democracy and world peace? It's almost comical. Not to mention that such wars are encouraged. How can there be democracy if someone is not allowed to peacefully secede from a country?
