He shouldn't have agreed to a battle to the end, of course... but the map generated was really boring. As a result of the battle, both armies were wiped out... but I still had troops at home because the battle was near his castle. And a dwarf without an army and only with Light magic is unlikely to be stronger than a mage with Chaos magic, summoning level 15, and knowledge level 20.
