I think this will be news for many, and quite pleasant news at that. There is an international project called NCF, the goal of which is to introduce a huge number of neutral creatures into Heroes 5 version 3.0, which the game clearly lacks. A method for adding new creatures to the game without replacing the old ones has already been devised, so it's hard to call this nonsense or a waste of time. The main method of creating creatures is to significantly recolor existing models, radically change stats, and icons. As a result, very interesting and completely new creatures are created. Part of the work was entrusted to the official Nival forum. You can see what has already been done on this website by user Psatkha.

I also recommend visiting the Nival forum thread (starting from post 237, although you can read the whole thread). In this topic, you can suggest your own creature idea, and there is a chance that the creature you suggested will be brought to life sometime (quite soon). :)
