Foreign ideals are fleeting and do not deserve to exist.

Those who gather in groups, clearly outnumbering you, are best avoided. I myself have had several encounters with people who wanted to "cause trouble," and my friends have told me stories, and I've heard many unpleasant stories from acquaintances of my parents as well. One of my friends was randomly punched in the face by a passing thug (he was with a whole group). He was walking with a friend at the time. Naturally, two 15-year-old teenagers couldn't do anything against a group of thugs. They had to walk away, feeling terribly humiliated and offended. As for ordinary insults... I don't like serious conflicts and try to avoid them. Some people get masochistic pleasure from it; they enjoy exchanging meaningless and demeaning remarks, insulting others, and even fighting. Therefore, I usually find ways to get out of such situations without "flaming" or fighting. But that's when it comes to me and my peers. Perhaps WisTrit was referring to more adult examples. As for Christianity, no one has ever insulted me because of it. And why would they? I don't even wear a cross.
