I immediately rushed to the second Castle, but I overestimated the danger and took skeletons and cerberuses into my army, which cost me a day. As a result, I got rid of the slow units and easily captured the Castle, also on the 4th day. Then, forgetting about the gloves, I started leveling up my heroes at altars and chests. In the end, I remembered about the gloves only when I was fighting the birds near the mine. By the way, I also lost time there - my main chaos unit died in battle, and I had to resurrect it and retreat.
Then I ran around, leveled up, and noticed that the Wanderer already had a third city. I ran to catch up. There were no blockers, so I decided to attack, but I lost badly, I didn't have time to close the distance from the poisonous creatures. I lost two chaos units, and without them, I couldn't win this battle, so I lost the entire army (more precisely, the devils). After that, continuing the game didn't make sense, so I surrendered.
