Cool feature: the Junk Trader, represented as a mill with barrels, buys artifacts. Useful on random maps where there are a lot of unnecessary scrolls; they can be bought for gold. The Bird of Knowledge can be sold for griffins, etc.
There is also a mountain made of skulls (I don't remember the name), where you have to fight liches, fire elementals, and ghosts. The battlefield is always a devilish fog, with many obstacles, and first liches appear, and then ghosts and fire elementals. For winning, you get a few ghosts (which aren't very useful, of course) and gold and crystals.
