A standard configuration means the standard position of the coolers, and attaching them manually where they shouldn't be is no longer standard, which means that users of standard systems (of which, according to your assessment, 99% are on our forum) shouldn't remove the side panel of the system unit. If there's a side cooler, that's fine, but as I said, that's not standard.
