The chat engine has been optimized; functionality tests were conducted taking into account the changes, and they showed quite good results. As a result, at the moment, the chat works as before, but with significantly reduced load on the forum and lower traffic consumption per unit of time, which was the main goal.

The option to display the chat on the main page of the forum has been disabled, since this also contributed to additional unnecessary load.

A small but useful function has been added to the chat: when you click on a user's nickname, their nickname + ',' is copied to the message field.



For a week, the chat will be in beta testing mode, i.e., during this period, please send reports about any bugs or instabilities found to beta_testing@heroesworld.ru (please include a screenshot, the name, and version of the browser used in your emails).

If, during the beta testing period, the chat performs well and does not create excessive load on the forum, then the chat will continue to operate; otherwise, it will undergo further optimization.
