I wouldn't compare it to the 4th game, as the situation is quite different there, and the hero provides significant benefits both as a warrior and a mage. Also, if I remember correctly, in the 4th game, a warrior hero could become a super-hero and take down hordes of mobs. In the 5th game, however, a regular hero can only kill 2 creatures of level 7 in a single attack (excluding Krag), and only under specific circumstances. Besides that, if we disregard the shouts and direct attacks, a barbarian hero can only use Inspiration. But the developers apparently thought this was unfair and found a solution, and at the same time, found a use for what seemed like unnecessary Orc knowledge. In my opinion, this is a perfectly logical decision on the part of the developers. The question is about the method of implementation. I have already stated my position on this. I'm not arguing that the way shouts are used is similar, or rather, copies magic. However, their effects still differ from magical ones (with the exception of Horde Fury and, in some respects, Intimidating Roar). It depends on how you look at it. Simply put, creating something original and unique would be unfair to other races, because Orcs already have Blood Fury and everything that comes with it. So they created this "simple magic" that is less effective than any other magic, but at the same time, it doesn't allow the Orc to be idle. IMHO, of course.
Vikh, are you arguing just because of your love for this race, whose "pride" was "trampled" by this phrase? :[/QUOTE] Hardly. I was expressing my opinion about the shouts because I don't consider them to be full-fledged magic, but rather a simplified alternative. I tried to prove this. I got a little carried away, unfortunately :(
the conversation is really pointless.
I already said that. In general, the argument arose only because of different viewpoints. morealyz was "looking at the root," implying a more capable implementation and actual similarity. I meant, if you can say so, the superficial meaning of the shouts, without going into the game mechanics. Which viewpoint is more objective, everyone will decide for themselves. ;)
O God of Earth and Altar, Bow down and hear our cry, Our earthly rulers falter, Our people drift and die, The walls of gold entomb us, The swords of scorn divide, Take not thy thunder from us, Take away our pride.
