Such a change in stats greatly affects the damage; you can't achieve this with Chaos.
Except when using the Fire Lord ;) It's a very effective method. In general, what I don't really like about Chaos is that absolutely all spells are aimed at dealing direct damage. It would be possible to add some variety and include a couple of spells with a different effect. Cadawr
You kill some, and that's a REAL weakening of the enemy. But if you cast some kind of Darkness (not taking Plague as an example) and kill a unit in the same turn...
This is a very crude misconception. By subduing a unit, you not only take it out of action but also turn its power against the enemy. Skillful use of Berserk also doesn't bode well for the opponent. And so on. But the Enchantress is an excellent caster. I respect those kinds of units. This is not a Druid, whose lightning cannot boast of damage in long games. Witches are always relevant!
O God of Earth and Altar, Bow down and hear our cry, Our earthly rulers falter, Our people drift and die, The walls of gold entomb us, The swords of scorn divide, Take not thy thunder from us, Take away our pride.
