Chaos magic. Is it necessary?

Major Whirlwind, I completely agree. But if, instead of chaos magic, the Elves had a summoning ability as their specialty, I would level up light magic and try to get the Spell Power skill. You can't charge Phoenixes with a volley of arrows. As it is, I'm leveling up chaos magic. Without it, the volley of arrows isn't very useful. Besides, chaos magic provides a very quick effect. And you might not even live long enough to get the Spell Power skill.
