Which version of Heroes IV will you be using to create it? Will it be Equilibris or Warlords of the Wasteland?

I think I'll do an online RPG based on Equilibris and a single-player one based on Warlords:)

How are you going to create an RPG map, considering that you should know that the terrain needs to be drawn according to the scenario and scripts. And you can't create scripts on an empty map.

I tried to figure this out a long time ago)). That's why I suggest you read my "workflow" for creating an RPG map:
1) Idea (you can't do without it)))
2) I write the complete script on paper (quests and everything else) - i.e., I write a book.
3) I draw the map (which is always a big problem for me...).
4) I start bringing the script to life - placing heroes, cities, objects.
5) I finish working with the scripts - all quest houses, the text itself, documentation, etc.
6) I test it.
7) I fix errors, etc.
8) I let a friend play it..
9) I forget about it..
10) I remember it and realize that it's crap:D

Now, teamwork:
Step one: script
1) The screenwriter works in Word.
2) Everyone else rests...

Step two: map
Everyone is familiar with the script.
1) The artist draws the map.
2) The scripter creates houses on an empty map and writes scripts for them.

Step 3
The artist sends the map via ICQ or other means to the scripter, who copies the houses from his empty (well, not so empty by then) map onto it, refines the map (adds any missing objects, etc.).

Step 4:
If the screenwriter has come up with more quests by that time, the scripter refines them.

Step 5: testing

And you don't need to make the team open to just any cartographer who "slapped together" a map half-heartedly and joined the team, only to forget about it and HeroesWorld altogether, as some users do.
