My internet speed is 128 kbps from 10:00 AM to 2:00 AM, and 256 kbps from 2:00 AM to 10:00 AM (by the way, it's the same "competing provider" mentioned in Major's post). The speed is stable, it connects instantly, and it's great for downloading things overnight. It costs 700 rubles per month. I'm 100% satisfied, but when I read about Moscow's rates... oh well... Although, with the advent of megabit plans, it doesn't feel as bad as it used to)))) I would already be on a megabit plan if it weren't for our provider's idiotic (and not at all similar) policy...
