I used to play RF Online. Now I don't. They even removed the gates, and you can't farm Lava in dungeons anymore, like you used to, when one Mount could carry the team, and everyone else just kicked <moderator was here> at the start. Nazg, reply in the thread about MMOs in "What Fans Love")).
By the way, since we're talking about The Witcher.
I watched the movie "The Witcher" on Saturday on TV3.
It's a rare Polish trash movie.
Only the Witcher himself (although his black beard was completely out of place, since he lacks pigment), Eyk from Denesle (he looks like my userbar :D), and perhaps Ciri were portrayed somewhat decently. And Nenneke and Borch as three birds. The rest are complete garbage, especially Lutger - a rather overripe, chubby oaf. The movie itself is awful and heretical. I wonder, if I had watched it first, would I have wanted to read the book? I doubt it. The monsters are like Godzillas from old Japanese movies, i.e., made of papier-mâché. I just <moderator was here> when I saw it. In one scene, they use "computer graphics" - a dragon that, with its drawing and style, resembles the intro of the first Baldur's Gate. All the episodes are twisted, chaotically randomly mixed, and compiled into some heretical, incomprehensible film, so even I had a hard time understanding what was going on. The main villain turned out to be the episodic character Falvik, who burned down the Temple and killed all the priestesses. In general, this is not a movie, but just a mess. I watched it out of academic interest.
P.S. The Nilfgaardian helmets were exactly like Nazi ones, only with a couple of incomprehensible doodads.
P.P.S. Sometimes, when they showed the Witcher riding a horse, it was accompanied by some cheerful Polish song, which made me laugh hysterically and twitch nervously on my stool with its inappropriateness and resemblance to our native language
