To be more precise, the Tear can be delivered to the town on day 10, or even earlier. That's exactly what I did in my playthrough.

Then I take my hat off to you – delivering the Tear on the 10th day or earlier is a great result! But still, secondary heroes played a big role here. Logistics were needed (finding the route) so that they could collect a lot of resources, pass troops along the chain, and so on.
