I think this is a strong claim for the European Cup. Personally, I am confident in their victory at the European Championship!

The era of football Brazil of the 60s and hockey Canada of the 50s is long gone; there is no such difference in class anymore, and there won't be, especially since it's somehow awkward to compare the current Russian national team with these examples. And everything else is just stadium bravado.
