No country has such an attitude. When the English, French, or Andorrans lose, the fans cry, but they don't betray their team. The national team is not a club. We only have one, and there isn't another.

I think you're right about the attitude and that the fans cry. Those fans cry whose national team (usually a strong team) loses in a match they were supposed to win, for example: Brazil lost to France in the World Cup - the fans cried, France lost in the final to Italy - everyone cried, including the players.
It's a rather strange attitude of Russian fans towards their national team, and that's despite the fact that the Russian national team is at an average level. I can't even imagine what the attitude of the fans would be if the Russian national team played at the level of Liechtenstein. The fact that Russia's chances of advancing are not great is known to everyone, but they still exist, so all is not yet lost.
