World War III: what are your predictions?

I don't know why I haven't written here before. I guess I just wasn't in the mood. No, don't pay attention to the second option; I'm leaning towards the third. In general, war is inevitable. There's also a good chance of degeneration, and it's a big one, but it will still end in a collapse. It usually starts with small conflicts and an unstable political and economic situation. The US is actively asserting its rights, Russia is actively decaying but still putting up a fight, and China is actively exploring new niches. Amidst this chaos, other countries, like Japan or European nations, remain in a state of anticipation and relative calm. Despite the squabbles, disputes, and other Eurovision-like events, it all resembles the calm before the storm. Meanwhile, countries are engaging in various maneuvers with missile resources and other things. Now, the frequent incidents in Abkhazia have reached a critical point, which could seriously upset the "loyal and kind older neighbor" – us. If we shift our mindset to a new level of paranoia, we can see a common thread or plan in all these seemingly disparate events. And it almost feels like we can predict the next step. Of course, this is just speculation, as neither the motives nor the existence of planners can be even remotely guessed. However, there have been cases, and not infrequently, where someone emerged during general chaos and anarchy, took control, and took matters into their own hands. ...However, this is nonsense. It's just that humanity is succumbing to decline, a fundamental one. If it survives... well, I think, looking at Major's signature, that Albert was right. If humanity survives the fall, it will be extremely difficult for it to recover. The lean postwar years will seem like paradise to us. Perhaps the very structure of the political landscape will change. Some countries may be literally wiped off the face of the planet, and some will fall into anarchy. Undoubtedly, somewhere a society of dictatorship and totalitarianism will arise, outwardly terrible and trampling on human rights and freedoms, but in reality, it will be the only one that develops and contributes to the revival. It's not a given that it will succeed. If things turn out this way, numerous clashes and small local conflicts between isolated fragments of civilization are inevitable. Maybe World War III will only be the beginning. But the beginning of what? The beginning of the end, or the beginning of something bigger? Or perhaps it will be the death of all living things?
