I don't quite understand what you're talking about... Oh, I get it, is it the former teacher from the Academy? No, definitely replay it, you can defeat this loser in one or two rounds (and if you have "stasis" with a light-side focus, you can defeat him in one go!).
I've replayed the game many times and I deliberately commit 2 dark deeds:
1) I fight in a deadly duel with the champion on Taris (if anyone fights, I advise them to talk to Aice).
2) I complete the Jolee quest in a dark way (but I won't say how :p).

This time, Malak was incredibly tough, considering that I immediately devoured all the corpses and left him with nothing - nothing worked on him! Not lightning, not choke, not fear, nothing! I just hit him, hoping to shock him...
