A little hint: dark forces work better for the dark side, and light forces work better for the light side. Therefore, lightning is quite weak for a light hero, but stasis almost doesn't affect anyone for a dark hero ;)

Well, I wouldn't say it's weak :) I'm almost completely light now, but lightning hits hard, at least against all the pests that attack me, which is enough :) The only downside is that it consumes a lot of mana, that's true :(
Oh... one jerk attacked me on Kashiq... We met on a small square, and the only path for retreat was blocked by very unfriendly creatures... I replayed it at least 5 times, I got tired of running away from him. When I almost finished him off (I use the following scheme: I run around - my mana recovers - if I have time, I use a potion and cast a shield - I fire lightning - I throw a grenade - he runs up - I exit the battle - see first), unfriendly creatures appeared on the square, and I had almost no health left. In the end, I ran away from them, recovered, and finished everything off with the same lightning :)
By the way, the battles on the Leviathan were an easy walk for me, even when I met Malak (still the same lightning) :) But then shooting down the fighters was hell...
