Well, dwarves are actually pretty good mages. Forget about Chaos, you can easily give any dwarf the Light skill and have them cast Mass Stone Skin.

Svea is a mediocre hero. She's only good because of the Lightning spell that comes with her. But dwarves are nowhere near as good as Warlocks, and they don't have any overpowered Stalkers; Chaos doesn't save them. However, the fat dwarves under Ingvar, Ibby's bears, and Karli's throwers are much more interesting. And I'm not even talking about her uselessness in a long game, since her ability only affects 2 stacks, and one of them might not even be caught.
