yeah, everything here boils down to whether you can capture enemy units, and specifically with your main hero. If you succeed, well done, it's simply great. If not, well... most often that's the case, so just relax. As for the heroes from campaigns, I don't really consider them to be proper heroes. What's the point if they're not available in scenarios? Besides, they're often too powerful. In general, it all comes down to a pretty portrait.
