There are 2 components to the moderation team on the forum.
1) Moderators - they are assigned to monitor a specific section.
2) Coordinators - they have access to the entire forum and can edit any topic or message.
The coordinator's job is somewhat different from that of a moderator.
For example, I am often asked to deal with a table because not everyone knows HTML. Also, they have the ability to post announcements in a specific section.
This is a broader range of responsibilities, and of course, we also delete incorrect messages.
