Dear Creator, I would like to personally express my gratitude to you for your response! The fact that there is a dialogue is great! The main thing is to continue in the same vein! I agree that all official organizers need to get together at a closed conference (somewhere in a neutral territory) and discuss all issues related to tournaments! This is a very useful suggestion, and I will be waiting for its implementation! Regarding the Library and the Grail system, there is indeed a lot of work to be done there, and people are needed, so I hope they will be found. Forum members, let's get active! Regarding the coordinators for the forum sections... Personally, I believe that it is impossible to combine the coordination of sections 3 and 4 of Heroes. I think that a coordinator should have a good knowledge and understanding of what they are coordinating. You will agree that it is practically impossible to find a person who would be equally knowledgeable about both Heroes 3 and Heroes 4, as they are different games and differ quite significantly from each other! And besides, a coordinator should promote their section, improve it, which means that not only good knowledge is needed, but also the desire to do it. In this case, preference will still be given to one of the games. In general, let's figure out who a coordinator is! Since this is not clearly defined anywhere on the forum, the position of coordinator is currently a secret behind seven locks! In my opinion, a coordinator is first of all the main link with the Administrator, and also his right hand (assistant), who has a few more rights and responsibilities than other users. Accordingly, the coordinator should fully coordinate the section that is assigned to him, monitor its LIFE - that is, its content, cleanliness, and, of course, tournament activities, delete something, add something, monitor its development, resolve controversial issues and conflicts, consider proposals and monitor their implementation, coordinate the work of moderators, and provide assistance in this. This is generally how I personally understand the work of a coordinator. That is why the coordinator must have a good understanding of the area of work assigned to him, approach it with all responsibility and desire! In order for the forum to function normally, it is necessary not only to improve its technical component, but also, which is very important: teamwork and coordinated work. In this case, I have analogies with my work. I will draw an analogy with the surgical department of a hospital. Knowing the life of surgery from the inside, I can say that only well-coordinated teamwork of all medical personnel can give a positive result for a person who ends up in a hospital bed. And his recovery, and sometimes even his life, directly depends on the ENTIRE medical staff, starting from the head of the department and ending with the orderly! There are no unnecessary or superfluous people here; every position is necessary! Let's consider an example from the forum. The forum is a living organism that needs constant care, attention, updating, development, cleaning, and sometimes even treatment. So... The Administrator is the head of the department, the person on whom everything depends! Everything depends on him: the life of the forum, the work of the staff, and the atmosphere in the department itself. Without him, no serious operation can be performed, that is, in our case, no serious action can be taken, and it is he who decides what and how will be done. And it is he who ultimately decides who and to what position to choose. The coordinator is a doctor, the right hand of the head of the department, who monitors the condition of the living organism - the forum, helps the head of the department, performs simpler operations, prescribes treatment (adds, deletes, introduces something new), and coordinates the actions of the middle medical personnel, who are the moderators, and of course, they have the right to remove unruly or guilty visitors (in this case, users) who interfere with the normal life, functioning, and atmosphere. Moderators, in turn, monitor cleanliness, order, and normal life on the forum, being the right hand of the coordinators. Without them, the forum cannot function normally. Just as doctors cannot do without nurses, so too the forum cannot do without moderators! And we all see this clearly! Thus, we see that in order for the forum to live a bright and fulfilling life, all these components are needed! And well-coordinated work of all representatives of the administration, the technical part, and, of course, tournaments! Tournaments are, in this case, the oxygen for the forum; without them, the Heroes portal cannot live. Therefore, they need to be developed and improved. And, of course, people are needed who will monitor the tournaments and be in charge of them. Organizers are, in essence, the same doctors. And, of course, the Grail system is needed! This is like nutrients or medicine; it seems that you can live without them, but it is difficult and bad, dull and sad. Just like communication (the off-topic section) is like a vitamin; without it, it is not so fun and pleasant, but at the same time, vitamins are good in moderation; an excess leads to serious problems and can harm, and even a vitamin is different from another. And, in my opinion, discipline, order, and adherence to established rules are also important! And also, mutual respect, participation, support, willingness to help and advise are needed. And if any problems, disputes, and frictions arise, then dialogue is necessary! Willingness to listen to another, understand the reasons, consider his point of view, find a compromise, and make the right decision! In the end, we see that without all these components, the forum cannot live; it can only exist. PS And finally... I would like to address everyone (including myself)... We all have a real life, in which there are our own concerns and problems, and not always enough time for the forum! We all work or study, some have families, we may get sick, go on vacation, or just get tired. So let's be more tolerant and understanding of each other. After all, it is impossible to spend all our free time only on the forum. I think you all understand what I am talking about; let's not rush to conclusions in the future and take into account all life circumstances. Personally, I realized that I was too quick to judge, forgetting that people have other problems besides the forum. Let's help each other. Let's support each other! It is really not easy to manage such a large forum as ours alone! And we must help the Creator in this, each in our own way. From real help on the forum to simply respecting forum members (avoiding flame, off-topic, and empty topics)! By providing our help, we will faster achieve the implementation of all changes and projects. Let's make our forum better! Let's give it life! Personally, I am ready to provide assistance, do everything I can, and everything that is required of me. And accordingly, I will be waiting for the changes that the Creator promised us!
