Death Structures

Cerberus can attack three enemies at once, which can be helpful.
Vampire - drains life, making them almost immortal, and their necromancer can resurrect them if the necromancy skill is level 5.
Diablo - for teleportation and summoning ice creatures.

In general, I usually leave all the soldiers in the city and only take vampires with me.
