Well, at least it wasn't two Italian teams. That would have been a guaranteed 0:0 draw, with a small number of chances overall in the match.
But this match was definitely entertaining. So, it wasn't the worst outcome.
No, it wasn't. The game looked like two herds of bison were let out on the field. A lot of physical play, speed, and more physical play, with only occasional glimpses of tactical thinking.
(And for that, thank you). The so-called entertainment value came from the speed and the overall tension of the match.
And in my opinion, the referee didn't do a good job.
P.S. They could have scheduled the match for earlier in the evening, at least for 7-8 PM.
Your 7-8 PM is our 6-7 PM and 4-5 PM in Western Europe. Which would definitely not have suited the television channels and UEFA.
