We recently started developing a new Arcomage game from scratch (completely in Russian), which will work in all color modes and on all Windows systems. Currently, I have almost completely implemented its programming part. I tried to make it as similar as possible to my version and the old version of Arcomage. This will be an exclusively free online game, with a system similar to Battle.net. That is, it will search for an opponent of comparable skill and keep statistics on games played in this way. Of course, there will also be the possibility of playing private games, and I might even add the ability to watch other players' games. (sorry for the pun). A chat will also be added to the game. Data exchange will be as simple and secure as possible, via TCP/IP through port 80, because in many companies, offices often close all ports except 80. After the complete implementation of Arcomage, we will focus on developing the game, adding new cards, with the possibility of playing both classic Arcomage and our expanded version. We plan to coordinate any additions, changes, and modifications with players who have reached a certain rating in the game. The first demo version is expected to be released at the end of June or even earlier.
