Second week: farmed gold, finished off that ill-fated Crypt, also some Dwarves and Medusas, traded resources and built Angels. Scouted their external dwelling and 3 Griffin Conservatories.
Survived until the 3rd week. Nothing to buy with. For 3000 gold, I buy archers, a few Pikemen, plus the 3 Cavaliers I had, and try to take the external dwelling. Out of a crowd of Crusaders, it turned out to be almost a horde that kept getting morale boosts, and only the archers survived. Again some Pikemen, and I try to take the Angel external dwelling. More morale. Wipe.
Really a shame to lose such a map. Oh well, hopefully next time I won't be such an idiot =)
